About ZIP Demographics
ZIP Demographics provides demographic, economic, and cost of living data for ZIP codes across the United States. Our goal is to make community-level data accessible, understandable, and useful for anyone researching neighborhoods, planning a move, or simply curious about communities across the country.
Data Sources
Our data is primarily sourced from the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS), which is the most comprehensive ongoing survey of American communities. The ACS collects data on demographics, housing, education, employment, transportation, and more.
What We Cover
For each ZIP code, we provide:
- Population and age demographics
- Racial and ethnic composition
- Household and per capita income
- Housing data including home values, rents, and occupancy
- Education attainment levels
- Commute and transportation patterns
- Cost of living index relative to the national average
